Found this good old bladder tank and started building a blast pot out of it. The most important part of these is a proper media mixer valve. I found this Clemco flat sand valve design on the internet that has been reliable for decades, and copied it. The bearing end of an old axle housing and some 3/16 plate was used to make it. The slide plate is the bottom, it drops the sand into a tee where it mixes with the blast hose air. I sprayed a couple good coats of Slip Plate on the inside of the valve.

You might also recognize the lever I used for the valve.
I had these old cast iron wheels for years and up till yesterday they have been yard art. I thought they would work great for casters.

Nice. I used the handle from a 6" irrigation valve to rotate the head on my engine stand.

Didn't need to scour for that handle. One of the many treasures from the ranch that were in the scrap pile.

Finished up pretty much now just waiting for the hoses and nozzle, and good enough weather to play with it.
