Thanks for the Add
As the title state "Once upon a time" back in 1973 I purchased a 1972 Charger with 11000 miles on it loved the car wish I had kept it (as probably everyone else) but life gets in the way let it go in 1979 but would love to locate it again
Wondering if Chrysler kept records of build sheets of these cars or if anyone may be able to tell me where I might locate one. I do have the VIN # here is the particle # (WH23P2A)
I know the car had a 400 Magnum with 727 Trans possibly locker rear axle Topper roof (did not have hidaway headlights) Buckets with a folding arm rest between seats
I sold it to a truck drive in Norfolk VA and said he was taking it to Calif.
Thanks again for the add

Galen's "white book" would have year, car line, engine and trans.

Dealer sales figures would have percentage of sales by car line and color.

I've seen a report print out that lists rear axles as well but not sure where it comes from.

Member @69Coronetrt is the resident expert.

He informed me that my WP29P2A car is one of 503 built with a 3.23 sure grip axle.

If you want a solid but body panel challenged project, I might sell it without the axle.

What color was your car.

I just looked at one today that has the same beginning of the VIN yours did.

Welcome. If you cannot find your original car,and want to build a replica of the car,I have a super solid 72 Charger topper roller I am going to pull out of storage and sell in the spring. I was going to build it,but I found a 71 Charger R/T,so I am going to sell this 72 topper. It's a really good starting point, better than 95% rust free.
