A while back I found out that the original headlight dimmer switches are date coded!
In addition the originals have the manufacturer initials of "RBM" molded into the bottom!
In the early 70's Chrysler added a shroud over the connector area and changed suppliers to "ESSEX".
So after going through my spares I found 4 originals.
I have sold 3 of them and have just 1 left dated the 8th week of 1970 or "080".
I have attached some pictures and the 1 for sale is all the way to the right in the group photos.
There is also a close up of the bottom with the date code.
The switch works but needs to be cleaned up.
The price is $20.00 plus shipping.
