Just about finished a Painless Switch Panel install. Down to the last with for the starter toggle. I am very challenged when it comes to wiring and have what is probably a stupid question.

Instructions say purple wire to starter. Can this wire be put where the brown wire is on the relay. If it can does the original wire stay hooked up or does it make any difference.

Thanks for any help. It's gone pretty good and i would hate to screw this up now.

The starter feed wire from you panel would go to the starter relay where the yellow wire was. The brown wire at the relay is the trigger for the starter solenoid. The starter relay needs the factory wiring from the reverse light switch in the trans. Or a ground from a aftermarket reverse switch/clutch switch.
