I just picked up a flatbed for my truck today for a good deal. It has a few things I want to do to it, one of those is paint. It looks like it used to have bed liner or undercoat on it. I have a sand/ soda blaster so I plan on blasting the bed before paint. My question is, what kind of paint/ primer should I use? It’s going on my daily driver that I haul sheets of metal, bales of hay, and pull trailers with often. I’m looking for something that will look good and be somewhat durable. I know sliding things on paint will scratch/ wear it out, but I’m looking to see if there is anything that can handle some of it. My dad has a buddy that uses a 40’ connex box for a powder coat oven. He uses it for dirt track chassis and trailers. I’m going to try to contact him and get a price on him powder coating it. I have a feeling it’s going to be a bit more than I will want to spend, but it would be the ultimate protection. So short of that, any good looking, durable suggestions?
I know pictures are a requirement around here, I’ll have to get some in the daylight tomorrow.

DuPont IMRON is pretty tough if it’s still available

DuPont line is now Axalta just looked it up Imron is still available

There is a DuPont paint store not too far from me. I could check with them next week.

Ppg ,, AUE 370. Its thick but it can be applied direct over metal. We use it on the oil rig equipment.

I just used Raptor liner to coat my floor bottom and it was easy to apply. I epoxy primed first.

Linex or Rhino liner might be a good choice.
I had considered using one of those on the bed part, and paint the sides. I have also considered lining the whole thing, I would have to check the cost, I don’t even know what it costs to do a regular truck bed anymore...
