Yep, but they didn't work that way off the line!
really i have to look at the wiring in my book, i did nothing but replace the switch , cause it broke when i was under there.i putt what the autoparts had in catalog.
 
That's a big negatory on the '68, good buddy.
Mine is original everything in this particular circuit and the parking lamps go
out at headlight activation.

BTW, that "165" switch all the rockauto's of the world show is obvioiusly NOT the correct
switch for our rides - it's a pull-knob sort of switch, not the correct rocker switch our
cars have.
So do a lot of the a-bodies and c-bodies of the same era, for that matter.
