Looks like part of power windows assy. Motor bracket? Had mine apart and don’t remember that part

Looks like #40 attaches to the glass Can you cross reference the number to the part name? That would at least be a clue Possibly

correct #40 attaches to the window the part# 92 references as (stop)

These parts are different from manual to power windows. 40 attaches to the glass with the plastic rivet and 92 bolts to 40.
#40 Is called Bracket with guide. Right and left part numbers 2588718 and 2588719
#92 Is called bracket electric front door glass down stop part number 2588337

Right. So it doesn’t attach to glass as originally stated. It is a down stop. Is that correct?

It is attached to the glass as a unit. 40 pinned to the glass and 92 bolted to 40 like the picture shows in post 3.

Post 3 does not show part 92. Not even close. The down stop does not attach to the #40 glass bracket.

power window...........................jpg

Red outline is 92, blue outline is 40, pink circles are the bolts bolting 92 to 40. Clear as mud.

Thanks guys 40 does bolt to 92 but the bracket part #40 on the power windows is different to standard hand wind set up as you can see it has the wider wings with bolt holes just for interest sake if anyone doing a conversion to power windows. And now on to the next stage i guess
