Paul Walker's Daughter Sues Porsche Over Crash

Someone was truly irresponsible, sadly enough.

Furthermore; In my opinion, these "Fast and Furious" movies have created a generation of kids hell bent on driving 100 mph on urban streets. No concern for citizens' safety.

(You get no thrill by sitting still.)
That is what he was after taking a ride in the Porsche.

It's all about the $$$$, another frivolous lawsuit...

It's truly sad he died, he shouldn't have been doing what he was doing,
even just riding along, but it's not Porsche's fault...

The person driving, way too fast for conditions is at fault...

Well,
I have been to that site.
Speculation is they were traveling at a High rate of speed.
-Undeniable

But I'm not so sure they were doing 120 mph.
Easily 80 mph

Another interesting to note:
It is a vintage "Race Only" Porsche Carrera GT.

1. The sports car has a top speed of 208 mph, a very high-revving V10 engine and more than 600 horsepower.
2. Jay Leno has one, he had his driving lessons from Porsche on Fontana's NASCAR track.
Leno said it was a very difficult car to drive.
3. The Carrera GT has no electronic stability control. That means it's unforgiving with mistakes.
4. Roger Rodas was the driver, Paul walker's very good friend, a race car driver and Philanthropist.

NOTE: Allegedly the car had very old ORIGINAL tires.

That means it's unforgiving with mistakes."

there's tha loop hole! It isnt FOOL proof!

2nd, Holy ****!!!! No one could survive this. However, lawyers always find a way.

It was a lawyers idea. They probably approached her with a 40/60 split proposal with no cost to her.

Well,
All in all, If you remember correctly, Porsche denied the sales of this car to the "General Public"

Porsches' "stance" on this premise was: "the automobile is a genuine race car" and it was not to be sold to the general public because of it's handling and performance characteristics.

Not for the ordinary person, much like the 67-69 Chevrolet Corvette L-88.
Listed as 430HP
Kind of kept from the general public and persons were advised not to purchase it but to instead purchase the 435HP tri-power cars.

it wasnt the speed that killed him...it was the abrupt stop that did it

LOL....true dat! but seriously she could sue that pole and tree too. After all it purposely stood there without concern for the out of control car.

If it didn't involve a minstrel....nobody would know or care.

I would sue the company that made the pole. It should have moved out of the way, instead of just standing there and letting them hit it.

Yeah !!
The pos lawyers will probably do that next, claim 2nd party liability...LOL

I think in a tread MR B posted about Donald Trump, Mr Trump answered this question. The automaker must not settle. No doubt in my mind some law firm is betting the automaker will look to settle. Have no doubt that it costs that law firm big money to take this case but there hedging there bets for a settlement. Porsche has deeper pockets and id bet can litigate this case for years.

Its all window wash. The lawsuit will go nowhere.

Might go better if she sued for faulty emissions control...

after looking at the pictures.... i'm thinking she needs to sue speed. Because apparently speed is what killed her father not engineering.

I think you'll find that Speed did NOT kill the occupants....it was more likely the sudden stop and impact that did the damage. Of course the fire that subsequently engulfed the car following impact didn't do them any favours.

Speed does not kill......unless you are travelling at Mach 1 then open your eyes.
