I kinda liked them. Hardly ever seen at today's car shows. That 428 was easily as strong as a 440, but rated the same as 383 RoadRunner; 335 horses. Likely Ford's best street motor.

A fair number of them ended up that way.

Big tires and a snorkel.

When you put an intake and 4 barrel on the 318 or 400-2 in that car, a lot of times the hood wouldn't close.

Interestingly, the RR hood and fenders is curved different and has almost an inch more clearance in that critical area.
