I think that is how I would have ordered a new Charger R/T in 70. Really like the side stripes.
I agree. It's amazing how small most factory rims and tires were on our old muscle cars. The wheel wells look cavernous! The road wheels match nicely but are just too small
Original owners of three of my GTXs made it even worse by replacing the original 70 series bias plies with 78 series white walls. In each case, I remedied the problem quickly.I agree. It's amazing how small most factory rims and tires were on our old muscle cars. The wheel wells look cavernous!
How cool is that! Continue to enjoy the ride!I've said it before, and I'll say it again: My wife and I are the original owners of this Charger. It is out of a 2-1/2 year restoration by Barr's Classic Restorations in Greenville, NC and has just been made roadworthy with new tires. Going to our first show locally this Saturday.

I usually prefer the tail stripe, but my V code 70 Charger R/T came with the side stripes. I am starting to like the look of them.I think that is how I would have ordered a new Charger R/T in 70. Really like the side stripes.
