Speaking of fakes... this whole CGI / "ai" krap is completely out of hand. Look at this - View attachment 1945270

I just saw this elsewhere - and NO, I didnt see it on fakebook - and smiled a bit. At first. Then I started to notice some details... The car appears to be a 69 or 70 Ford Galaxie, at first glance. My folks had a 70 - best car ever probably - last time I saw it the thing had 420K on it and the only thing that had ever been done to it was a water pump [which I did as a 14 year old with Dad watching as he had been injured and couldnt bend over to do it] and an exhaust manifold replaced. [there was whole bunch of bad castings - it was pretty common] But, once you get past the awful Appliance brand 5 spokes with whitewall tyres, it begins to fall apart... look at the grille. And the frt bmpr. That doesnt look like any standard production car I have ever seen...[tho the grille looks a bit like an early 70s Dodge Monaco. A bit.] The early 60s Chevy pickup in the background looks OK from what I can tell - which isnt much - and the houses look OK. The people look real. But that yellow car...
So what say y'all? Whomever did this - assuming the car isnt some weird Canadian market variation or something that I dont know about - did a pretty darn good job. The "photo" is aged evenly and the people dont look to be 'inserted'.
My Dad usta tell me, "Son, dont believe anything you hear and only half of what you see..." Apparently I cant even believe that 50% any more. :(

Front sidemarker is missing.

The front bumper doesn't appear to wrap around far enough.

The steering wheel is undersized (maybe it's tilted down?).

Grille looks off (not as tall as stock) to me. They wished it looked that good.

Passenger seat looks unusually wide or shifted towards the driver's side.

Headrest looks wrong.

I was expecting to see the inside door lock button positioned further forward.

wow, you can see the door lock button?
So its not just me - you agree its bogus. The people look 'ok' as far as I can tell, but its like someone created a 'background' with CGI software and then inserted some real photos of people. They did a darn good job as far as I can tell...
[as an aside, the guy standing there with the girl looks so much like my best friend John that I did a double take. Plus, Johnny did actually wear a light blue tux like that to take his then girlfriend Sherry to her junior prom. And I have yet to let him live it down...]
