Wondering if you guys could post some pics of how you routed your aftermarket auto shifter cables 'through the carpet'. I want to keep it clean looking and thought what better way to look for ideas than to ask you guys. I wasn't happy in the past how I had done it so looking to change it on this car. I'm using a B&M pro stick by the way.
Thanks in advance.

Looking for the same info, anyone? show us your underside cable pics please.

I'll have to look and see if I have a pic but if not I can take one but here's what I remember. The cable that comes with the shifter (B&M Quicksilver) was to long for my liking, it had to go forward all the way into the headers to make the bend back to the trans so I opted for a shorter cable (I think the original was 5' and I used a 4'). I mounted the shifter a little farther back than original so it would be right where I wanted it and then made an aluminum slotted plate to cover the original automatic shifter hole that allowed the cable to go threw with a rubber seal. The shorter cable allowed it to go far enough forward to make a nice gradual bend but stay clear of the headers (it comes forward off of trans then doubles back into the shifter hole). 1,500 miles later and nothing but smooth shifts.
