Those did not exist back in the mid 80's.My 85 GS1150 that was 1229cc with a hidden nitrous system under the seat.
I replaced my 81 GS1100 after going down with the 1150

Mini Sprints. 1st pic is Stirling Moss's Mini Sprint Racer(He got one of the 1st of a handful that were made with factory support). Chopped & sectioned. Notice also that the stock exterior vertical pinch weld seams at front & rear of body are shaved smooth on the MSR( see second comparison photo)

That's one hell of a sheet metal stamping.

I worked a stamp press like that, but 10 times smaller.

For TV picture tube frames.

The top weight was as big a s a car, though.
