got a 64 plymouth fury, ss springs, 450 ft lb torque ,4 speed

The car is a street car but will see a fair amount of hard runs, launches, and gear jammin out north of town.

Ready to weld my perches and was wondering if a 4 speed car is different than an automatic as far as requiring more or less angle?

I dont recall reading anything different when setting mine up. I remember thinking it was kind of hard to really get an actual measurement on it though.

The '64 FSM makes no reference to there being a difference.

Won't make any difference so long as you have some angle. 3-4 deg nose down is the DC recommendation and 1/2" to 0" clearance for the snubber.

As long as its enough to rotate the caps of your U-Joints as you drive, you'll be fine.

according to mopar bible... with leaf spring only...5-10 (prefered is 5-7) degrees down bubble...if it's a leaf link...3-5 degrees downbubble if it's a ladder bar 1-3 degrees down bubble...and this is measured at the universal joint
