Yea, I just freaked a little, I have the trunk and floor pans ready to instal ( from a wrecked Sattelte) and I will not have to tear into my donor car as much as I thought, still gonna pull allot of usable parts from her though when I get through I figured I will have saved around 3 3 1/2 Gran just by using the donner, it only had a little rust. Going to also use fender patch panels from the wrecked one also. When done my doner will probably make a good project car for someone else. I freaken locked the keys in the donor car checking out the door locks:angryfire:

Sounds like a good idea, saving the Satty also by using the other one for parts.. I really do have to agree/suggest doing the blasting on it, you'll know exactly what you have and at the same time rust preventive afterwords on it will assure a lot more years it will be around, and rust free.. This yes, providing any unforeseen accidents of some kind.. I really don't think you will have that big of a problem unlocking the car, police should be able to come over and do that if really need be, but that is back in the coat hanger days if i remember correctly! :) But we anxiously await updates! Seems you have really went to town since you mentioned this.

I get 'em when they look just like this. Trust me ya'll, you ain't seeing how it really is, it could be a LOT worse than a close inspection in its current condition, Bondo hideth a multitude of sins!

That is very true, I plan on peeliing, scraping and checking all the seams where the sealant around the all the seamswas used, and then I will blast it ( I don't trust the local sandblaster's besides it's at least a 60 mile round trip in my truck - 1994 dodge ram 1500 4X4 wich gets about 12-14 mpg). And then I have a little trick that I use after ther blasting to go even deeper. I have a little experience in this kinda thing, this is my first actual ground up resto but I have worked on several show car resto's.
