FOR SALE PLYMOUTH ROADRUNNER HORN

SO I PICKED UP THIS HORN THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A WORKING ORIGINAL.
WELL THE PAINT WAS VERY HEAVY WHICH PREVENTED ME FROM SEEING ANY MARKINGS OR DATE CODE. I RAN IT THROUGH MY MEDIA CABINET AND DISCOVERED NO MARKINGS OR STAMPINGS.
POWERED UP THE HORN AND IT WORKS AND THE ADJUSTER MOVES FREELY.
IT IS VERY CLEAN AND IT DOES HAVE THE LONG BRACKET.
I WILL LEAVE IT UP TO THE BUYER TO PAINT.

Don't want to comment on a for sale ad, but there was some discussion and there are some hallmarks to prove or disprove original vs repro (year one) horns.... may actually help you sell. I'll see if i can find it and PM you if need be.

Agree but an original and even the forklift horns still had Sparton on them.. The mounting bracket was also different. Here is an Nos Forklift horn.

I believe what you have is just a reproduction that was made to look old with all the paint.. Like this one.
