I have installed the new window gasket and was fitting up my quarter pop out window. It seems I have a 3/8-1/4” gap from window rubber to the new AMD quarter panel. It’s Ben years since I took this apart. Is there a “window felt” or body gasket I need in this space ??
I understand a felt would go with the wind up windows

Momma Chrysler used dumm dumm to fill the gaps.. I used some black gasket maker..

My back window install starts around here... 1969 Dodge Super Bee Coupe Restoration
Thank you soo much !!!

So I need to get some closed cell foam that’s 1/2” thick and compress it for a tight seal to window gasket and 1/4 panel edge. I think I can get that from McMaster Carr.

Ya read through the entire thing! I found the closed cell was TOOOO hard and had to find some open, as was what was on there originally if you follow the thread along. I then still had a slight gap between the rubber gasket and the quarter panel right by the stainless curl of the drip rail and filled it with gasket maker.
