Chinaman Flats was removed from the. maps of BC, because it offended some folks. But Englishman River, and Falls remain. Meanwhile the entire inland sea between many Islands and the mainland of BC, including Washington State, has been renamed the Salish Sea, after the Salish Indians.
The Salish include about five different tribes, including the Coast Salish, Songhees and others.
