Don't worry, I live in michoacan and the same hurricane is above us, just medium rain and some wind .

Its a hurricane very normal for this time of year.

Stayed for Ike and well, didn't particularly like that. The eye lasted 45 minutes but at least no one lost their home in my neighborhood. Several left but when I saw that cat 5 losing strength as it got near land, we decided to stay but were ready to roll if it had kept it's power. Hurricanes ain't all too bad in most cases but it's the freakin tornadoes that they spawn that you can't hardly hide from.

Hurricane Nora has been downgraded back to tropical storm and is heading toward the Mexican mainland rather than the Baja peninsula. I'm battening down the hatches anyway just in case it upgrades again or in case another one may follow. Right now just a little windy and fairly clear skies.
