Several years go I converted my 1970 Charger R/T from manual drum brakes (up front) to disc’s using a “The Right Stuff” conversion kit. I have never been able to get the brake pedal at the right hight from the floor. No matter how many adjustment I put in to the brake rod as it connects to the pedal it will not work correctly. Either the pedal is too high or it is on the floor. See the attached pic’s of the power booster for identification.
Has anyone heard of a brake pedal stop? Mine does not have one to the best of my knowledge. If it had a stop I think I could adjust the rod to take out the slack in the linkage which in turn would lower the pedal. You thoughts on this one.
Somebody must have run into this problem. Let me know if you have any ideals. Thank you.
