I recently had my power steering box go bad (power assist in only one direction) and am curious if headers could be the culprit. I rebuilt it myself 3 years ago and got 2 summers out of it and honestly think I just danaged a seal installing it but was curious if headers could cook the seals? Like I said I think it's most likely my wrong doing but if heats a known issue I'd like to address it cause swapping it out was a real PITA (pull the plugs, headers, starter, pitman arm, power steering box, etc)!
