Does anyone know who restores or rebuilds the power window motors for a 69 Dodge?
Can't find a company that does it to save my life but there's got to be some place out there I can send them to ...I hope !
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

check to see if any local shops that rebuild electric motors will rewind them.i have had to do a few power window motors with a local electrical motor shop for unavailable stuff we have had in the shop.

Go to the JY and look at a 5th Ave PW motor.

Thanks to all the replies- I will check into all those leads.

Probably OT, but: When putting power windows in my non-power Coronet, the a1electric kit bolted right in. It included the regulators and have been working good for years.

They used those motors for many many years....A couple months ago I replaced the bad drivers side rear window on my Coronet. Motor was out of a Fifth Avenue. Think it cost me a whopping 40 bucks and it was still new in a box. Exact same cast#, exact same part, besides the connector for the two wires. Left hand side P/N 2520903, Right hand P/N 2520902. A lot of cars up to the late 80's and even some early 90's used those same motors. For Example, just Ebay "Volare Power window" and you'll see pages of them, especially the Cardone REMFG. motors. I believe the P/N's for those (fully assembled with new gear/seal are Cardone 42-407 and 42-408. Rock Auto also sells them. Good luck.

To answer PM- JY is Junk Yard.

I get tired of typing it so I thought I'd create an acronym and see if it cathes on.

So far it seems to. I've seen other members using it.

The pw motors from my 5th Ave parts car look just like the ones in my 73/74 Chargers, but they have an extra mounting tab.

IIRC some later models have the motors swapped left to right- IE left side newer motor works on right side of older car.

Thanks again to everybody that replied-
I know I'll be able to make something work now!
