Would anyone know if a power window set up from a 68 Newport would bolt into a 70 Charger ?
There is a 68 Newport not too far away from me that has a complete set up in it for all the little bits and wondering how usefull it would be to get to convert my car over
My car is still a project and has no windows in it so I still need to sort that out to see if it even came with all the back window parts to put the crank windows back in I have complete doors with cranks to do the front stuff

Yes it will bolt in.... No it will not work... But if you have the needed skills it can be made to work....

The mounting plates have the bolt holes in the same location whether it's a B/C/E/M body... So it will bolt in to the car.... But... The arms won't properly attach to the window....

However, you can disassemble the C body power window regulator, keep the motor/mounting plate and driven gear along with the spring & center pin...

Then disassemble the Charger regulator toss the parts you kept from the C body unit, keep the parts you tossed & put it all together... Do it, it works.... However... There is an "Easy Button"

1968-1970 Charger and Roadrunner Power Window Kit.

You will still need all the window guide parts with either power window conversion...

I have power windows in both my 70 Charger and 70 Challenger R/T S.E.'s. No, the brackets/arms are different as mentioned above.

Thanks for the link
That kit and all the wires and buttons are going to cost me more than the whole 68 car
Going to do some more research on the changing up the pieces like you said to make it work with factory stuff
