This is real simple to do. It does not take years of experience or rocket science. Here's how you do it. Take a long piece of coat hanger wire. Get it as straight as possible. Now, take it and stick the end inside the OUTLET of the fuel pump and gently bend it so that it makes it's way to the inlet of the carburetor, bypassing everything in its way. Now, when you get that done, simply copy it with fuel line using a tubing bender. But don't forget to put your flare fittings on before you bend and flare the line. You'll need a decent tubing bender and double flaring tool both available from harbor freight on the cheap. Check back with us if you need some help.
It is that ez. may not look as posh as a prefab item. but you did it. read enough posts recommending getting the tools and doing it oneself. i did my rear brake lines ,being my first attempt. not the most finessed bends but i will do better on the engine compartment when i pull the brake master to install the 440. then adding a line lock and re-plumbing the front brakes . long story , just do it . kind of fun learning the skill and saves a ton of change .
