I took the car out and when i had it in the driveway half in the garage it suddenly stalled. Would not crank. Lights would NOT dim when i hit the key. The coil has power to it. I suspect the neutral safety switch until i saw i had power to positive side of coil. If i shut it off and then tried to start it id say ok, issue with starter but it flat out stalled and it has not done that as of yet. I pumped the accelerator and say gas shooting into carb so i have gas.
Any thoughts

Check the bulkhead connections at the firewall, my coronet would do the same and I’d wiggle the connections and it would start again

after you get it apart and clean off all the terminals
use some dielectric grease on it to help prevent it from happening again.

Well the no crank issue is because of cheap aftermarket parts. In this case its the harness that goes to the neutral safety switch. It stalled because of no gasoline. What bothers me is i put five gallons in and have hardly used it, ran it in the garage and around the block a few times. So I'm suspecting a fuel pump which is new or a problem with the pick up tube in the tank...Thanks for the help
