I am looking at buying a 67 GTX convertible, and am wondering how many of these were built with this color combo. It is silver with red interior. Does anyone have a good website that I can check this out at?

They never kept figures on how many GTXs had a certain color combo.
They did keep percentages of B-Bodies were painted a certain color but not model by model.

How do people find out how rare their car is? I always see people saying that the car is 1 of 600 but only 1 of 20 that had that combination paint and interior. Is this something for Govier?

According to the Galen Govier book I have they made 680 1967 GTX convertibles and the Hemi car converts are included in that number. There is no break down for autos and 4 speeds for the converts for 67 GTXs either. My book is older and there may be a more current edition with new numbers that were not available before but I doubt it.

They did not start keeping color percentages that have ever surfaced until 69 or 70 model years and then it was for the entire body series.

When you see numbers tauted for so many of a certain year in a certain color etc. it is from GGs registry of what he has accounted for that are remaining and is subject to change with cars surfacing that are added to HIS registry. There are often other specific registries that may have more cars than his, may have his numbers included, or not.

It is a crap shoot as to how many are still out there and no way to tell how many were made in any specific color combos.

pops has it covered as far as production numbers...The silver was not a popular color...Just being a convertable 67 is rare...It,s a good investment if you get it at the right price...I say go for it!!!I have only seen a few here in calif..
