Im wondering how many 66 Coronet 500 383/4sp cars were built as opposed to
66 Coronet 440 361/4sp cars

I get 192 or 160 of the Coronet 440's

I get 204 or 2298 of the Coronet 500's

any help would be appreciated

This is the only resource I am aware of.

Seems 383s were far less common in the 440 model, and the 361 was a fairly popular option, but not with a manual.

so someone smack me in the head with the answer... how many 500's with the 383/4sp were made in 66 :sSig_thankyou:

Looks like that chart is trying to say "approximately" 2298.

Don't know why those figures for 383 500 trim cars are approximate and all the others for that year seem to be concrete.

I belive the person responsible for compiling that chart is a member here.
Perhaps he'll chime in.

I started collecting pics of the 383 440 trim cars a while ago.
Wish I had recorded VIN numbers and locations as well.
I'm up to about 12 so far...in 7 years.

So the 440 with the 361/4sp is a 1 of 160 making it more "different" lol
