PST/performance suspension technology

I had an idler arm from them fail last year. 3000 street miles and 30 passes at the track. Replaced it with a moog piece. Moog part looked much better to me.

yes I like to know too if the parts are made in the usa

I purchased basically an entire new front suspension and disc brake conversion kit for my '69 B Body. I found everyone from PST to be very helpful and so far everything that has showed up looks great. They spent a lot of time with me helping me get everything I needed, and also helped me save some $$$ in the process.

No complaints here; nothing but good things to say about PST.

A re clock of the torsion bars were done a little over 2 years ago to a 20 degree offset. If a customer has not installed them we will take them back for exchange of the re indexed bars.

Would be nice, unfortunately they were installed about 3 or 4 years ago. Though I didn't start driving with them til late last year (2014). They'll do until I'm ready for a swap. Just gotta go slow over bumps lol Plus the rake with the 17s and 245s on the front looks sweet lol

To James from PST: Would you please address superstockracer's last comment? Are your parts made offshore? Thanks.

Hi Dave,

We have parts made in the USA as well as in Turkey, Israel, and a few Asian countries. But it depends on the part. I would have to answer your questions on a "by part basis". For example our torsion bars, stiffening plates, tubular control arms adjustable and non, strut rods, polygraphite bushings and pivot shafts are made in the USA. This is just examples so there are more. These are the ones that I could think of off the top of my head. Now the parts the we do have made overseas are done by the same manufacturers that TRW and Moog use. Regardless of where our parts come from we q/c all and all are covered by our same warranty.

Thanks
James

Gee,
I have to "chip-in" on this.
Realistically, there WILL be a day when MOST manufacturing is done abroad.

It is almost here now.
The COST to produce in America is astronomical as compared to produce abroad.

You open a AC Delco box and the part is made in China. In the 60's parts of low quality were made in Japan and then that changed. I can only pray that will happen again, but will not hold my breath.

I used their standard front end kit and did not have any issues with it. I didn't realize the standard kit was missing the outer tie rod ends but Rockauto and Moog handled those pretty quick. I would use their parts again.

As somebody who has been in american manufacturing for the past 7 years I am also losing faith that made in the USA really means much anymore. After seeing some of the workers in the plants I have been in and how attentive (or not) they are...I really can't say the quality aspect is much different. Though I do prefer my money to stay in the US instead of benefiting offshore.

Thanks for the response, James. The one thing we can count on is a responsive customer service rep. Try that with TRW or Moog.

I'm currently looking at Drop Spindles. PST Price is $499 (so $450 after the discount) Most competitors including Magnum Force (direction I am leaning) are $440.... doesn't feel like much of a discount

We try to be as competitive as we can on our prices. Some items we can't do better then others. Plus we only offer our members discount to this set of forums ( for a/b/c/e bodies only) and not to any other mopar forums. Plus this a continuous discount to members here. You can use it as many times as you want. Its not like our competitors that runs monthly specials that are a limited time offer. Did you get shipping quote from them yet to Ontario? I would be interested to see what your total is ?

Thanks
James
