push button tranny park cable ?

just noticed that there is fluid driping out of the park cable housing not were it goes into the trans but from where the cable cover is cracked...
 
Both shifter cables acually get trans fluid that travels up the cable,but not all the way'I put the cable through some fuel line and sealed the ends with hose clamps.

Had that problem on my car too, Did almost the same thing as Hemi-itis but with a realy long piece heat shrink tube

do you need to go all the way back to the fire wall, what size of hose...
 
Might look a little better all the way to the fire wall,or at least to where the cable goes vertical.I don't remember what size hose but I had to spray some silicon in the hose to wrestle it in.I have no doublt that the shrink wrap should look better and also go to the firewall.:toothy6:
 
You guys are smart.....and that's why I'm here.....always learning something!

That was a problem I had as well and used ultra black sealant as a temporary fix.

Now I can make it better.....
