Putting around in the polara for the first time

I figured I would post a couple clips. I have tons and tons left to do still. But she is running and driving for the first time since 1989. For those that don't know the story....I am the second owner. This is the original paint, the car has no rust, it is one of those amazing finds you here about but has never happened to me before or rarely happens to anyone

No, ended up being a 440. The engine builder never got me the motor.

In fairness though, I'm not sure I agree with "Putting" in the title. Big Block '64 Dodges don't 'put'. It's like my wife asking me "are you going out to the garage to futz around"? What??? MoPar men like us never put, nor futz, and certainly never piddle. A better title would be "Terrorizing the neighborhood for the first time"

Well I would have titled it "pissing the neighbors off" but I have a neighbor that is on the board and he might take offense to that
2 trips around the block and back in the garage. 2 squad cars roaming the track about 10 minutes later

Nice! isn't it awesome? My belvedere sat for about 8 years, I almost forgot how much fun it is to drive!
