Anyone have an experiences with running their headers back mandrel-bent 2.5" system on a 1966-1970 B Body?

Here is the system I'm thinking of getting for my Satellite:

http://www.pypesexhaust.com/sys-mopar.html

Goes for a little over $400 and includes mufflers. I've called local exhaust shops and they would charge about the same price but for a plain, non-mandrel bent.

Looking for exhaust ideas and what you are running. Thanks!

if your looking for something cheap i personally havent used them but i see summit sells header back mandrel bent 2 1/2" dual exhaust systems for 68-74 b bodies for $210 you might want to check them out maybe they have something for your 67 but thats definately a much cheaper route to go they dont have a cross over pipe but summit sells them as well if thats what you want

Yeah, I was thinking about the Summit systems too. I don't get why the Pypes lists fitting for '67 through '70 but the Summit lists fitting for '68 through '70.

I bought a 2.5 x-pipe system from Pypes a few years ago for my 70 RR. It may have been when they were first doing Mopars, because my setup was not exactly correct for headers. I actually re-fabricated the left side pipe off the header to make it work. The rest of it going into the tips fit good. BUT.. the system has lasted & the sound is really good. I'd recommend it.
