So I am having the worst time trying to install the quarter windows on my 70 convertible. On convertibles there is one clip that attaches the regulator to the bracket that the glass is glued on. On the cutaway picture below you can just make out the bottom portion of the clip. Is there some easy trick to snap the clip onto the post with the window installed on the car. I just can't seem to do it.

I used an E-clips to replace all of those PITA things on my car. (Harbor Freight assortment). Works great and saves you from frustration.

Yeah. They are hard to get in place with the regulator on the car. I lost one and had to fabricate it from a piece of stainless steel. Note that they are designed to not interfere with the smooth movement of the roller
