Are 66 - 70 B body Convert spare tire hold downs (the threaded rod with a crook at one end) the same on hardtop/coupe and convertibles?

Or were ones for converts longer or a different shape or something?

I have some that came out of hard tops but my R/T convert didn't have an original one when I got it.

That is one of the few things my car didn't come with.

This is what was in the car and it actually works fine but I'd like to have a correct one.

Seems pretty long and is actually a little longer than necessary if I recall

Someone just bent a threaded rod to make that. There are different oem lengths available. I think mine has a 10".

Yeah it's just a pice of threaded rod.

I need a correct one if a convert had a defferent one than hardtops and couples. Otherwise I'm good I have those.

OK

68 and 69 / 70 are diff.

I'll have a look around. I think I have one of these somewhere.

Thought you would be amused by my hokey set-up. I can always find my deep spark plug socket.
