question for you wiring gurus

on my 73 plymouth roadrunner. coming out of the column there is two red wires joined together. put my meter on them and with key on and they are not hot. anybody know what these are for. two red wires joined together. thanks guys

One runs to your Hazard flasher and one runs to your Directional flasher...Hit the hazards or turn signal, you should see juice coming through then.

Small 18ga are the key in chimes and should show power w/door open and key in ignition.
