Gentlemen....
I tried to ask this question on the first forum but it said that this forum was closed. My question is sort of out of curiosity.....how many times must i accept cookies.....every time?...I would think ONCE at log-on should be sufficient; the program knows who I am after log-on. It remembers me. I would think that once accepetance has been granted it is not likely that I would rescind it. Anyway my question is somewhat rhetorical.

Check your browser settings to make sure it doesn't clean/clear cookies after you close the browser. Also signing in from different IP adresses may be part of the problem. Not saying you are but its possible if you are using public WiFi in different locations.

Chrome
Click on the menu "3 dots" icon in the upper right corner and select Settings > Show advanced settings... > Privacy and then tap the Content settings button.

In the next window that opens, under Cookies, select the radio button that says "Keep local data only until you quit your browser."

Press Done at the bottom of the window, close the settings tab, and that's it.

Firefox
Click on the "hamburger" icon in the upper right corner and select Options. Then in the window that opens, click on the Privacy tab. Under History, click the drop down menu next to "Firefox will:" and select Use custom settings for history.

A number of check boxes will automatically appear. Most of the defaults should be fine, but you want to change the drop down menu next to "Keep until." Change that setting to I close Firefox (i.e. keep cookies until I close Firefox).

As an option at the bottom of the history section, Firefox also lets you clear all your browsing history when you close Firefox, but that is not selected by default. Do so if you'd like.

Once you're done click OK and that's it.

Internet Explorer
Automatically deleting cookies every time you shut down Internet Explorer isn't as obvious as it is with the other two browsers. To do so, click the gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Internet Options.

Open the General Tab in the window that appears. Under the Browsing History section, check the box next to "Delete browser history on exit." If you'd like, you can click the Delete button underneath to customize exactly which settings are flushed every time you close IE, though cookies are wiped by default when you enable the "Delete browser history on exit" option.

Then click OK and you're ready to go!

Gentlemen,
Thanks for the e-mail and info.....I'm using my Samsung tablet using the Android operating system. I've been a member and using the tablet/Android system for a few years with out any difficulties. It's only in the last several months that this issue came up. I've not altered any browser settings either. I also DO NOT have an "Alexa" device that likes to listen to all words it hears. I would NEVER have such a device in the house. Sometimes gremlins can be introduced thru inconspicuous methods.

What "first forum"?

I would think ONCE at log-on should be sufficient; the program knows who I am after log-on.
It is -- did you choose to stay logged in?

I think? that may be a windows7 issue. You don't actually have to accept, just ignore and it goes away. On the other hand, in Win7 I see it every time as the OP describes no matter if I click stay logged in or not. This does not happen on Win10 at all. Not a techie tho, and not really sure where it comes from.

Joeychgo,
It was: Web Site Suggestions and Questions. I always use the "remember me" box to stay logged in during lengthy correspondances to avoid being dropped off after predetermined length of time, determined by the administration not the user.

Lol, RJ seems like last year had to click “stay logged”, haven’t done it for quite awhile now. Click the “cookies” or not , whatever trips your trigger. Personally, I’m getting too old to care about almost everyone that’s watching(2nd Amendment in force in my area!).
