Looking for some spray cans, maybe some that stopped working but still have some in it. I have an idea on how to get the paint out of can to use in a conventual spray gun.

I purchased some street hemi orange from 69bee. I think he had some race hemi orange . Not sure

I have several cases, most didn't work when I got them. Some have been tried, but most haven't.

And on top of it, the yellowish orange from Mopar was pretty crappy. Certainly wouldn't waste my time. If I ever do it again, will find another way.

Yes, the race Hemi orange goes on horrible. It is much more yellowish that street Hemi orange. The old Mopar Performance (Direct Connection) paint was thinking like water and did not cover well. It took like 8 cans to cover an engine back then. I would have some custom mixed up.

Try Mancini Racing

Can you get the number for me? I have a very old can (Direct Connection) left that won’t spray either. I love that color, every engine I have is sprayed that color. I use Chevy orange for a base coat, let dry then spray the race Hemi on top. It’s the same paint on the Max Wedge. The 340, 360, 383, 440 and the 3 Hemis will be painted that color.

Try this stuff.......

Pretty sure the Mopar race hemi paint is discontinued. GOOD! It was garbage. No coverage, no durability.
I have tried a couple krylons that were close, but no cigar. Finally bought a can from Bob Mazzolini, labeled Omaha orange, covered well, and the color was a dead ringer for the Mopar race color.
If I was to do it again..... I'd either use Motor Coater or have some color matches and made up by a paint store.
(When I bought from Bob, I didn't know motor coater had RACE hemi, I'd only found the (street)Hemi orange.)
I think Bob has packed it in, I don't know who would have the paint I got from him. (Far right in the pic)

I painted one of my spare Charger doors with Omaha orange.

Here is Krylon colormaxx pumpkin orange. It chips off easy ! I think i might try to spray a 2k clear over it to protect it better.

I was going to say that Race Hemi Orange was the same as Omaha Orange, but others have beat me to it. It was a truck/commercial colour.

What I have, engines are dirty from sitting for 20 years
