Radiator clearance question

Hey guys before I drill the holes and mount this radiator, it looks like it’s sitting a little tall and maybe the hood might hit the cap. How much clearance do you have above the radiator support? The top of the radiator is sitting about an inch and a half above mine.

The hood bracing, how far behind the radiator support does it go? If there is no bracing the cap might be OK a little above radiator support.

Put a dixie cup or small plastic cup in that spot with a lump of Play Dough on top. Cover with a bit of plastic wrap so it wont stick to the hood. Close the hood and then measure to height of the cup and dough. will give you a very accurate reading.
