As I interpret my fender tag, my car is a radio delete. Car does not have an antenna.

It does have an Astrophonic radio as pictured.

Would this be the correct radio for 62 Dodge Polara.

Look at these manuals. Came with either the Bendix RB23D or the mopar model 323
Both are astrophonic and both are identical as far as I know

Mine has a delete. Nov. 24, Friday after Thanksgiving 1961! Other than seat belts, Craig's and mine are the same. Oops, mine has T2 (Trunk light 428)
Mine has a D2 but has standard brakes, with no sign of a booster or vacuume on manifold.

Okay I guess when they changed the motor out to a 69 383 they left off the power brakes. Because they are manual now.

Also when they restored the interior no seat belts now. I am gonna look for the holes under the car.

I thought about this last night. I don't think this car has ever had power brakes. I certainly could be wrong but everything looks too original.

That's the same thoughts I have with mine.
Working on cars back in the '70s, I remember people ordering new cars and they didn't want all the "bells and whistles". They looked at it as the more options you ordered, the more there was to "go wrong". A valid point and some higher end cars came with power everything. The dealerships would order the vehicles with a lot of options hoping that the car would be more attractive to a buyer.
The Polara 500 was a high end car and you might expect to see a lot of the options already installed. Mine for an example has no power brakes, no power steering, no power windows, no radio, no AC, but it does have the darker tinted glass. (more than likely, being from the west coast) I'm sure this car was ordered by the customer. I've had several cars that were ordered by the owner and it makes some sense why people ordered options or lack of, back then.
