Raining in southern California???

Yep - I bit surprised to say the least but we had a good - albeit short - shower the other day. It was great! Wish it would have lasted a little longer as we can always use the moisture. But some is better than none.....

I heard it only rains twice a year in California...once for 3 days, and once for 4 days....best of luck guys.
I was there in 1987 for the 3 day event...I saw mountains behind the sprawling city. :D Also survived the big 'Quake.

We had the aftermath of hurricane Rosa for a week. Nice welcome of fresh clean air.

Thoughts and prayers for you guys following the aftermath of hurricane Florence. Hope you guys recover quickly!

Hey Beany, are you sure you weren't in NJ?!? LOL, I am praying for a drought at this point. This has been the worst year weather wise that we can remember.
:wtf: :BangHead: :cursin:
..we got about a tenth of an inch on thursday....our first rain here since, I think april? Just enough to slick up the roads and get cars dirty. Normal average here is 9-10" a year, (more in other parts of the state)

Not even enough to replenish an hours worth of usage in the reservoir.

We have clouds forming to the south now....rain tomorrow.
It can turn dark as hell here and it just passes by. That mainly happens when we need it the most but lately.....the past month, we haven't needed it lol
