Hey guys, looking to raise the rear of my vehicle to clear my tires. I currently run 275's with air shocks, but would rub with out them. I am swapping over to SS springs but do not know if it will clear the tires even with the SS springs. I want to get rid of the air shocks, and don't want to shackle it. Will the SS springs clear the tires, or should I look at a different back spacing, or smaller tires? Thanks runner2.jpgrunner1.jpgRoadrunner2.jpg

If a 275 60 15 doesn't clear your car sitting STOCK, you got something wrong.

sounds like a back spacing problem.best way to solve is with diff wheels.never liked the stink bug look, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.275s should fit under your ride easy with the right wheel.

Had 275-60-15's under a stock 71 Cuda but I did have to 'tweak' the back spacing a bit.

Shes got big hips and I dont think it looks right sitting low. On this car anyways, any other year looks great sitting level. Just doesnt do it for me on the 73 and 74s lol. Thanks guys, Ive been looking at new rims, anyone know the correct back spacing on these things?

How wide are your rims? An 8" wheel should be fine with 4 1/2 bs but a wider wheel may need more....

I would be scared to drive that car

I'll bet it handles corners like a ferrari!
