ralley dash - 2 types of OEM radios?

I am looking to convert to a ralley dash on my 74 satellite. Found one but radio hole is a single rectangle with knob holes on either side. I have only ever seen the one with the rectangle on the right and 2 knob holes on the left. I can tell that it wasn't redone..it is original due to the position etc. question is simply: where there 2 ralley dash versions for different radio types?
