Sweet,A Hemi Charger R/T doing what it was designed to do!
Thanks guys. These photos go back a few years to the first IHRA National Event at Grand Bend Motorplex, in Ontario. I normally raced drag bikes and, IHRA thought enough of their sportsman racers to include Box and No Box ET classes at their national events. Unfortunately for the first couple of events they did not include an ET Motorcycle Class. Not wanting to be left out, we bought a tech card and drove our race car to the track. That is an absolutely stock, numbers matching, 4 speed car, with the exception of the drag radials. I didn't do all that well, but it was great to be part of the show. Mopar was the sponsor of the event, so they loved the car.
35 year old paint needs a good buffing!!
I hope it is ok to post my 68 here, I had not seen this posting of beautiful Chargers until today! I know it's Green, but to me that is my favorite color on the dodges! I have owned this since 1985, and was purchased in Phoenix from the original owners.
Green is good!
I had that same car in 1992! bright green with white top, RTSE with white leather Interior and sun roof. dumbest thing I ever did selling that car.
