Everyone loves to hate on those mustang II cobras....

...but they don't weigh anything

they have rack and pinon steering (before the corvette got it)

...and with a 302/5.0 and a manual trans with a LSD...

pretty darn fun and could sure get out of it's own way.

I have a friend who has a Mustang II Cobra stored away in a climate controlled building.
He has had it a very long time. At least 35 years or so

He believes that he will have something one day.

It is super nice and almost looks new.

I dated a gal the got one new for her 16th birthday. She drove it lots the first year but then hardly ever drove it after that. I talked to her husband a while back and the still have it. They drive it a few times a year.
