"RARE" B-Body Air cleaners on Ebay - I Don't get it..

Back a few year now, a buddy of mine lost his house and cars in a house fire. He had a 73 Gran Torino, and had a fresh air air cleaner for it that he would put on at shows, then take it back off and put it back in the box. He asked me to list it for him and wanted $600 for it. I listed it on eBay with a $600 reserve, when it sold for $3800 I was a nervous wreck. It was rare to be sure, but $3800? The guy who bought it raved over what a good deal he got, and what a beautiful piece it was. Ya just never know, ya just never know!

well, it’s been gone for a couple years, I don’t think I have any pics of it. It was pretty unassuming, I would’ve never thought that it would go anywhere near that price.

Unassuming? That’s why I’d like to see it. Can you do a search and find one that looks like it.

Looks like one of those eBay air cleaners was delisted at a slightly lower price. $475, down from $625.

Did you see the restored one that listed the other day for $1500?
