For those with a big block in your 71-72 b body. Which side is your upper and lower radiator hose on the radiator? Upper on passengers side and lower on drivers side? Or both on the passengers side?

Thanks... My car is in the shop and could not "just go out and look at it".

Passenger top, driver's lower. Mine came with a/c. I think non a/c had both on driver's side. But been wrong before.

Well I thought I saved myself some money today...wrong! Got a radiator, shroud and the 7 blade fan from a 73 c body that was a 440/auto and A/C. Thought I might could use it...but guess not. Back to the drawing board since both upper and lower hoses are on the passengers side.

You can still use the c-body rad. Just use a water pump housing with the outlet on the right side. The top will look the same as a 72. The car I looked at was on Ebay and was originally a 72 non-a/c 340 car that now has a 440 in it with a 26" rad. The A/C car on Ebay was upper right and lower left as well with a BB.

I looked back at the motor pics from my car. The housing on the car is already set up for the lower hose to be on the passengers side! There is hope after all! I am going to deliver the radiator to the shop that is working on the car to verify that is what they need. Then I will take it to have it checked and cleaned!

BB had drivers side lower til 74 on cars. 74-up cars and 72-78 trucks have the pass side lower hose.

That is good to know! I guess you could say this car is getting built 80's style! It is like it is getting built from junkyard parts as they are found! 73 power bulge hood, 72 440, rear end from a different 72 Charger, 73 and later steering box, and many other parts from many different states..lol

Another step back. Took the radiator to the local radiator shop. Needed to recored. But at least it will bolt in and the shroud will work with the stock fan.
