Ok, I have spark from a MSD 6AL, verified gas flow,
MSD Pro billet distributor; I guess I didn't install the distributor properly.
I set TDC no.1; set initital timing to 18 degrees by rotating the crankshaft. I dropped the oil shaft in so it is parallel to the crankshaft. I put the distributor in and the rotor aligned in between 2 distributor terminals but closer to one. I called MSD and they it said would not point directly at one terminal.
does it matter if the oil gear slot is perfectly aligned with the crankshaft or do I need to rotate it so the rotor will align with terminal 1 on the distributor cap ?
So, why doesn't it start ?
