I picked up a console plate for the rear of the console for my 70 RR. It has a cigarette lighter and a grill for a courtesy light. The seller said it came from a 68 Monaco. I have checked everything and it will work nicely but.... It does not have the lamp socket or any kind of cover. there are bosses with tapped holes on the back side for this part but I don't even know what it looks like. Does anyone know where to find out what I need to complete this assembly? Or better yet have the parts.
Thanks

Yup, that's it. You don't have any pics of the backside by chance? It's going in my 70 vert build. You can't beat more light and an extra power outlet to boot!

Stuart,
That last pic is just what I needed. Should be able to fab that up without too much trouble.
Did you install power windows? whose kit did you use? Need to start sourcing that pretty soon.

power windows your best bet in nu-relic mine are home made and only work so so

http://www.nu-relics.com/

they may try and tell you they dont make the rear ones but they do , a guy here on the board send them his originals and they made him a rear convertible set

I wonder if you could modify a marker light housing to work ??

Been looking for one of those plates for a while, guess I haven't been looking hard enough lol.

I had seen one on ebag quite a while ago seems like it went for pretty good coin. Maybe that's the one Stu got. I found this one at the Nats. $60.00 couldn't turn it down. Keep up the search you'll find one.
Hey Stuart, I called nu relics they said they had a setup for a Coronet but not for a Satellite. Aren't they both the same?

yes

and 60.00 you got a steal i though what I paid was cheap as i got the Vaccuum gauge , and harness all with it

One key difference on the lighter 'screw on housing' is it has a ground wire fitting , blade, for a grd wire. The dash ones dont.

I've had an electric trunk opener setup for awhile wasn't sure were to put the button, I like the button in the console, thanks
