I know its not a b-body but brake system is the same as far as I can tell and I would like to put rear disks on my 72 Satellite at some point:

My father's 74 Cuda has a SSBC rear disc kit installed. The car was originally a power front disc car. The kit had no pluming in it, only the hardware and brakes, so all lines, master cylinder, and proportioning valve are stock (for the disc/drum setup).

The rear brakes stick and the pedal does not return the whole way. The master and booster have been replaced several times so that is not it. I have read that the proportioning valve needs to be changed from the stock because it has residual pressure valves for the rear drums.

MY QUESTION: What proportioning valve should I get? I have looked at a 4 wheel disc one for GM applications that seems pretty generic. Anyone who has a 4 wheel disc system- what valve are you using if any?

Gonna need to change the master also as a 4 wheel disc car uses more volume (fluid) than a disc/drum car. An adjustable proportioning valve hooked into the rear line is what you'll need.

I agree, same with the booster. You'll need a double diaphragm booster for disc brakes.

Something like this for a e-body.

Here's the adjustable proportioning valve I used,

Does the stock proportioning valve stay with the addition of the adjustable valve or does it get removed. Anyone with pics?

Yes, you'll need to install it on the rear line only, here's mine mocked up, this will not stay here. IMG_0417.jpgThis is how I will be installing it.propvalvehorizontal-01-01-07.jpg
