Finally got my wheel/tire combo put together. I’m mocking up there position so I can order an axle housing. I built a sliding (axle housing) that you can see in the pics. Obviously I’m looking at all the clearances and such. I am wondering if there is anything else that I need to consider before I order housing.

You need to account for; Rotor or drum thickness. Along with axle shaft offset between the housing and flange. Also note that many cars 1/4 panels are not the exact same distance from the leaf spring on both sides. This causes one tire to be closer than the other to the lip. Easily remedied by off setting the spring perches slightly side to side. Example one tire is 3/4" closer to the lip than the other. Off setting the perches 3/8" closer on one side and 3/8" further on the other now allows equal 1/4 panel clearance. This will not affect the way the car drives at all. Both my Challenger and 64 Belvedere racecar are offset. When in doubt make the housing a touch short. Spacers can always be added. If it's too wide your in trouble.
