Rear end housing

So i was cleaning the housing and these welds don't look right to me what do you all think was it born this way or was it ridden hard an put away wet. In other words has this thing been welded on by a rookie

That's a pretty bad weld, have to say some it didn't come from the factory like that

Normal.....seen cleaner and seen worse from the factory

Looks just as bad on the inside but if it's normal then I'm good too go but think I'll grind em down an run a fresh bead
